Distinctive Asian cuisines such as Chinese (in all its regional incarnations), Thai, Vietnamese, Japanese and Indonesian are true to their origins and delicious. Continental and American-influenced cuisine is almost as ubiquitous. Following are a few of our favorite places to eat, though a comprehensive list is far beyond the scope of this document. Dress code: Please note that many of Singapore’s more upscale establishments require that men wear a dinner jacket. Casual “traveler’s attire” is not permitted.
