CUSTOM TRAVEL STARTING AT $900 PER DAY PER PERSON

SOUTH KOREA OFFERS BEAUTIFUL BEACHES, BUSTLING CITIES, ancient temples, breathtaking natural scenery and most importantly, friendly people. Since the end of The Korean War in 1953, South Korea has emerged as a destination with much to offer. From beaches to urban experiences, to remote inner country forests and rivers, there is a new discovery around every turn.

SEOUL

The capitol of South Korea is a must see and your jumping off point for any adventure. Seoul is changing by leaps and bounds. It has embraced the future with verve, refashioning itself into one of Asia’s great epicenters. The business driven, no-nonsense high rises of the late 20th century are giving way to imaginative and eco-friendly urban spaces, and a movement is afoot to preserve the traditional hanok-style housing and courtyard architecture that defined the Kingdom in centuries past. Lively, surprising and ambitious, the city was named the World Design Capital in 2010.

SUWAN

The city of Suwan is the capital of Gyeonggi Province, and it is just 30 km (20 miles) outside of Seoul. It is easily accessible from Seoul by car or train.

BUSAN

The second largest city in the country is Busan. It’s also a major port, and it is known for beautiful beaches as well as hot springs and opportunities for outdoor recreation.

JEONJU

At the peak of the Joseon Dynasty, Jeonju was its spiritual capital. Today, Jeonju is filled with temples and museums and is one of the best places to visit in South Korea.

SEORAKSAN NATIONAL PARK (SOKHO)

This area was designated a Biosphere Preservation District by UNESCO in 1982, and its rugged granite peaks, bubbling waterfalls, deep cave and thick forest help explain why. It is also home to over 2,000 animal species.

ANDONG/HAHOE VILLAGE

Hahoe Village is home to descendants of the Ryu clan of Pungsan and is well-known for its traditional houses. Hahoe Village (translating to "Village Enveloped by Water") gets its name from the Nakdong River, which flows around the town's perimeter and is located at the foothills of Hwasan Mountain. The center of the village is populated by large tile-roofed houses belonging to the Ryu clan. Hahoe Village boasts exquisite scenic sights: the elegant Nakdong River flowing around the village, the magnificent Buyongdae Cliff, endlessly unfolding sandy beaches, and lush, ancient pine trees.

JEJU ISLAND

Jeju is Korea's semi-tropical paradise island with many natural and cultural treasures to be explored.

DMZ

The Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) stretches for two kilometers on either side of the border now splitting Korea roughly in half between North and South. As one of the last relics of the Cold War, the DMZ attracts a great deal of public interest and is a popular destination. Despite the fact that this is the most heavily armed border in the world, it is extremely rare that any hostilities take place.

GYEONGJU

Gyeongju is the ancient capital of what was once the Silla Kingdom. This makes the city more than 2,000 years old.
